this is my pillow. my pillow with a big burn spot on it! yes, aparently i tried to set the bed on fire - while Sage and I were sitting on it. it was early - sage was hungry - i was tired and thought that if i fed her on my bed, then she would fall asleep, i could lay her down next to me, and we could take a little nap together. so....i stacked up some pillows behind me and didn't notice that the lamp next to my bed (jim's old desk lamp from college) happened to be touching my pillow. a few minutes later i smelled something funny, turned my head, saw smoke, and started frieking out! i threw (well not really threw) sage onto the middle of the bed, grabbed the pillow that was nearly in flames, and ran to the bathroom to extinguish the almost-flames. needless to say, disaster was averted and we are alive to talk about it. now i have to sleep on a lumpy old pillow. i HATE lumpy old pillows!

Sorry I haven't visited your site lately. Love the posts! I'm glad that you did not burn down your home! Sage is changing so much...crawling makes a huge difference, doesn't it? Mom says that they enjoy helping out. Lucky them!!! Love you!
that really looks like she's standing there! she looks darling! that is too bad about your nice white pillow! :( i'm glad you two are safe and escaped the burning pillow!
That's scary! I'm glad you contained it to the pillow! Bart started our whole kitchen on fire when we were first married.:( Not fun. Sage is so stinkin cute- I hope we get to see her next summer.
