Brrrrrrr!

Wow! So we went to the lake with our friends today. I'm not sure why, it was freezing! I don't think the air temperature ever got above 60 degrees, so I hate to think what the water temperature was. We just went along so that there would be enough adults in the boat for our friend to ski. I should have know that Jim would end up wakeboarding! Good for him. As for me, I'll wait another month, or maybe just another week. Who knows with the way the weather has been lately.....80 degrees one day, and 50 the next. It's crazy! I just wish it would get warm, and stay that way. The kids had fun at least.....

Studio Charm....a Charming Studio!

I recently got back in touch with one of my friends from high school....Amy, one of the four girls in my graduating class! She was a move-in, like I was, so we had that in common. She has gone on to be an amazing artist, photographer, mother, etc. She's even a relief society president! She has her own business and I wanted to share it with EVERYONE! No More Puppies!

Last Friday we finally got rid of the last little puppy! I'm relieved, but sad at the same time. It's nice not to have to worry about her, but we were getting to be good buddies. We sold her to a lady that Jim works with, and she is now best friend to a little boy that adores her. I think they names her Chloe.
If you'd like to know what our puppies got named......Hunter, Bailey, Diamond, Sam, and two of them were named Chloe. We don't know about the other one, we sold her to some people we don't know, and they haven't been in touch yet.
The day after we sold the last one, I had nightmare that Daisy was pregnant again...only this time she was pregnant with 14 puppies. Definite nightmare! I don't want anymore puppies for awhile.

A Lovely Wedding!

My sister, Rae Jean, got married this past weekend! I rode down with Kim and Mark & Janelle on Friday afternoon. We stopped in Brigham City to eat at Maddox.....of course. Had a wonderful dinner, and then headed onto Alpine to stay with Julie. Jim couldn't go because he was in charge of a big Elders Quorum activity, so he had to stay home. I think he had fun though, he got to hang out with our friend whose wife was out of town also.
Saturday morning, Julie, Kim and I headed to SLC to help get ready for the ceremony and take some pictures. I guess you could say I was the "very amatuer" unofficial photographer. It was fun, I got to try out our new camera. I've got a long way to go on my photography skills, but I am excited to learn, and hopefully become better at it.
All of our siblings were there, except for DeEtte. I think Colby had a big softball tournament, so she felt she needed to attend that. Hope they were victorious!
The ceremony was very nice. RJ was just glowing with happiness. I have never seen her look more beautiful or happy! Don has been so good for her, and I am glad they will get to be together all the time now. Lucky ducks....they're on a cruise right now!!
After the wedding, we all went to Chuck-a-rama. Everyone should go to Chuck-a-rama at least twice a year I think. It's good for the soul.....and the belly :)
We headed out after lunch. Made a stop at Tai Pan (my first time, I loved it!), and then at a bakery in Woods Cross that Kim discovered. Then we hit the road for a speedy trip home. Than you Mark for your wonderful driving skills.

The Last One.....

And then there was one......one poor little puppy with no brothers and sister to play with, and a mom and dad that think she's a pain in the you-know-what because she won't leave them alone. We just can't quite seem to find her a home. I don't know why, she's cute and sweet and all that good stuff that puppies are. She's even cheap (compared to what her siblings cost!!)
I am enjoying having her, but I think I'm getting a little bit attached. And I'm afraid that she might be getting attached to us too. So.....once again.....if you know anyone that wants a cute little black puppy....tell them to give us a call. We deliver!! :)
