We spent our 4th of July in the usual place - Glenns Ferry! It's a good place to spend the day, always lot of fun! The day started out with a parade. All the grandkids, and some of the parents, rode on the family float. We even had a goat that walked along side the float until it got tired. I'm afraid I have forgotten the goats name - sorry :( But it was pretty cute! Then, we all went to the ranch to have a BBQ! There is always lots of good food to be had when at a Solosabal get-together! Then, later that evening we went to the park to have a taco at the Firemens booth. That taco is usually my favorite part of the day, but not this year. It was a bit spicy for me! Hopefully next year it will be better. Next we just sat around an visited while we waited for the fireworks. The fireworks are the best in Glenns Ferry because they light them off in the corner of the baseball field, and you can practically sit right underneath them. Sage did her first sparkler, which she was not overly impressed with I don't think. She was not much of a fan of the big fireworks. She cried and cried, and then finally fell asleep. Maybe next year she will like them better. It was a fun day!

looks like a fun 4th of july for you and especially sage. she will love all of the festivities as she gets older especially the goat!
I don't know why babies don't like the fireworks...none of mine have either! It is probably too loud for them. So glad that you had a good day though, relaxing with family and enjoying good food. That's the best!!! Good food and being with family!!!
She is looking so big and looks so happy.
