MORE Puppy Pictures....Sorry :)

Oh, look at that. Isn't she a cutie??

They are finally starting to look a little more like dogs. They still have huge noses though :)

* They're three weeks old now, that means they get to eat dog food! We put it in the blender with some water and make some yummy puppy-paste *

They call me coach.....

This year I had the PLEASURE of coaching our young womens volleyball team. I love to play volleyball, but I have now discovered that I like to coach it even more! I think I get a little too competitive for church ball though.
Our team did very well. We had a good mix of girls. Some play at school, and some had never played. I was a little worried at first, but we improved a little every week, and by the end of the season we were actually setting up the ball up and KILLING it! (Well, sort of :)
We only lost one regular season game so I was sure we would do well in the tournament. However, come tournament day, the first team we played was so hyped up, and so loud and excited, that I think my girls were a little scared. Needless to say, we lost our first game and were out of the tournament. Oh well, that's ok. We had a great season, and LOTS OF FUN!
Way to go 17th Ward Girls!!

Puppies Don't Pose For the Camera

Their first time outside....they did NOT like it very much!

Don't you just want to kiss 'em?

Look at those sweet little faces!

I keep taking pictures of these cute little guys, but they just don't cooperate. And, they don't listen to anything that I say. I just can't figure it out. but I have managed to get a few good ones.

Leading By Example!

Mom and Dad sent these pictures to us a few days ago, and I thought they needed to go on the blog. I'm so proud of my parents, and their never ending service to the Lord! This is their third (and dare I say "hopefully their last") mission. This time they are serving at Martins Cove, Wyoming. From the pictures you can see that there is lots of snow, and their reports say that is very cold. The wind blows there lots, so that makes it even colder.
We had the opportunity to go an visit them last summer, and it was a great experience. It's not as fun of a place as Nauvoo was, but there is such a great spirit. In our preparations to go an see them I was able to read up on the area and the things that went on there. I can't believe the things that those great saints sacraficed to get to where they knew they needed to be. As the weather has gotten colder this winter, they have crossed my mind a lot. I often wonder if I could have done what they did, and the answer is always NO! They were truly a special group of people.
So, thanks to those great saints, and to mom and dad for the great examples that they are!

A Snow Day.....From Church!

Last night at about 9:30 we got a phone call saying church was cancelled today due to the bad weather. We were a little surprised, after all we had only received about four inches of snow. But, it snowed through the night, and there was quite a bit when we got up this morning. But still, cancel church? Oh well, not our call I guess.

My sweet husband let me sleep in this morning, and when I woke up he was gone. I figured he was out shoveling drive ways for the widows and our friends in the neighborhood. I was right! Along the way he picked up a couple of our friends and all together they did about eight driveways. Good job guys. Thanks for your service!
